Fall Foliage in Full Bloom
Fall is a wonderful time in the Blue Ridge mountains!
The normal cycle of fall colors begin with trees at the highest elevations, then slowly descending to the trees at the lower elevations. Soon the leaves will fall and leave the trees bare.
Mid-October marks the peak of the fall colors where the leaves shows the most dramatic colors.
A trip to Blue Valley Vineyard and Winery is a great way to experience and view the fall colors in all its splendor! Our vineyard is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and offers some of the most spectacular views of the mountain scenery.
This weekend (11/12/2017) marks the peak of Mother Nature’s spectacular show of Fall colors. People from all over the east coast will head to the Blue Ridge Mountains to catch a glimpse of the natural beauty of the Fall colors.
Be sure to gather your family and friends, pack a picnic basket of your favorite snacks and head to our winery for a relaxing day among the Fall foliage.
We will be offering tastings of our newly released red wine blend, the 2015 Tradition and our estate grown 2014 Cabernet Franc for you to enjoy. Be sure to grab a bottle and to sit by one of our fire pits as you enjoy the live music and take in the breath-taking views.
