Yes, we do require a valid and current photo ID with date of birth for tastings and purchases. No one under the age of 21 is permitted by law to purchase or consume alcohol anywhere on our property.

Hours of operation all year round are Monday-Thursday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Yes, well-behaved and leashed pets are welcomed on our grounds. We kindly request you to clean up after your dog.

No, reservations are not required. Tastings are now self guided to enjoy at your leisure.

Yes, our parking lot is large enough to accommodate buses and limo’s of all sizes.

Yes, we are a family-run business with many grandchildren of our own. Please feel free to bring your children. Children must be under adult supervision at all times.

Tours of our 20,000 sq ft. tasting and wine-making facility are available by appointment only.

A tour and tasting is $25 per person, $10 per person for the tour and $15 per person for the tasting. Please prepay for the tour.

Outside food is permitted anywhere on the property. We also offer a collection of cheeses, meats, spreads, and bread for purchase.

No, ABC laws strictly prohibit other forms of alcohol or wines other than what is sold by Blue Valley Vineyard & Winery.

Yes, we have a designated smoking area on the property. We also sell Cigars on-site in the tasting room. E-cigarettes are only permitted in designated smoking areas.

Unfortunately we can not accommodate personal music systems at this time. We normally host live music onsite on Saturdays and Sundays from May to September.

Per Virginia State Law, section 18.2-308. “Personal Protection” you may NOT consume alcohol while carrying a concealed weapon, and our business policy also PROHIBITS alcohol consumption while carrying openly as well. This applies to private citizens as well as off-duty Federal, state and local law enforcement officers. If you want to enjoy our wines, please leave your weapon secured in your vehicle.
